Friends Of Barford
Come join our 'Friends of Barford' parent group ! We support the school by organising lots of funraising and fun activities for the children. We have already organised:
- Movie nights
- Christmas fayre
- Summer fayres
Our fundraising has helped to purchase:
- Year 6 graduation gowns
- An icecream for every child on the annual trip to the seaside as well as sets of buckets and spades.
- Books for school

Form Filling
If you need any support with form filling, we are here to help! Mrs Janagal runs weekly sessions to support parents. Please contact her via the school office to book a slot.
Play and Stay
Come and have fun with us ! Our play and stay is open to parents, friends and the community with pre school children. The group runs every Thursday from 1.30 to 3.00pm. Entrance to the session is through the Nursery entrance on Icknield Port Road (opposite the petrol station).
Food Bank
This is open to all parents, after school, each Friday. This can be accessed via the Reception / Year 1 playground.
Birmingham Local Offer
Early Intervention and Early Help, is support given to a family when problems like challenging behaviour, financial problems or mental health issues first emerge. It can be provided at any stage in a child or young person’s life. Early help services support parents, carers, children or whole families, but their main focus is to improve outcomes for children.
