Last Day of School will be Friday 27th May 2022

Welcome to Barford Primary

At Barford Primary School we work hard to develop well rounded, confident and responsible young people who aspire to achieve their full potential and help their community thrive. We will do this by providing a welcoming, happy, safe, and supportive learning environment in which everyone is equal and all achievements are celebrated.

We will:

  • Inspire and enthuse children to learn
  • Celebrate and respect each other within our diverse community
  • Provide high quality, stimulating learning opportunities, which interest and motivate the children
  • Challenge the children to achieve their full potential
  • Promote a life-long love of learning
  • Listen to, respect and value each child as an individual
  • Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all
  • Develop supportive home-school partnership
  • Be an encouraging and consistent role model for learning
  • Develop children’s curiosity, confidence and independence in a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

We want to make every second count.

Holiday Clubs for children eligible for free school meals
Over 200 spring holiday clubs have been awarded funding to run between Monday 11th and Friday 22nd April 2022. The holiday clubs are designed for children who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. Schools can issue a Bring it on Brum! code to each eligible child. Parents/carers will be asked to confirm this code when they book. Details of clubs that are open for bookings via the following link: https://streetgames.coordinate.cloud/. Please share this link with the parents/carers of the children in your school.

SEND Provision
A number of Bring it on Brum! holiday clubs are able to cater for children with disabilities and special educational needs. Some of these holiday clubs will be offering provision exclusively for children with disabilities and special needs and others will be providing inclusive clubs. Please advise parents / carers to make contact directly with the holiday club to discuss the needs of their child/ren.
