Enjoy your Summer Break!

BE ON TIME TEN TO NINE! Punctuality is VERY important. Please make sure that your child is in school on time at 8.50 a.m everyday. Allow plenty of time for traffic and worsening weather conditions. Thank you to all those pupils who always arrive to school on time.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS! If your child is too ill to attend school please telephone the School Office on 0121 464 3765 or use the ParentMail app.

Welcome to Barford Primary

Hello and welcome to the Barford Primary School website. We hope that you find it interesting and informative. We are always looking for ways of improving the content & presentation of the site. So if you have any good ideas please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Barford is in the Heart of Ladywood, just round the corner from City Road Hospital. We have about 470 pupils, aged 3 to 11 years old. We have Before & After School provision, lots of After School Clubs e.g. multi-skills and run many parent/community courses. We aim to provide the pupils at Barford with lots of interesting ‘hands on’ opportunities during their school life. We often have resident musicians & artists working with the children and organise many exciting visits, visitors, competitions & events. Such experiences reinforce the pupils’ learning and help develop a greater enthusiasm for learning.

You’ll find lots of information about the school on the website, along with examples of some of the work we have done. So go and grab a drink & a snack (healthy ones of course) and take a few minutes to find out more about us.

If, as parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge.
