Assistant Headteacher (Early Years & Year 1 Transition)

Start date: September 2025
Pay range – L1 - L5 

Governors at Barford Primary School would like to appoint an Assistant Headteacher on a permanent basis.
We would like our Assistant Headteacher to be part of our ‘Barford family’ and contribute to our journey to support rising standards in our school. Our children would like their Assistant Headteacher to display our Barford Values and uphold our vision and ethos- helping to make our school the best it can possibly be!

The role includes:
•    An exemplary teacher who is highly experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated to share in the leadership and management of our school. 
•    Be a fundamental part of the school Senior Management Team and contribute to driving our school forward by upholding our vision and values in this challenging, rewarding and strategic role at Barford Primary School.
•    Candidates must have relevant management experience in KS1 and/or in Early Years.
•    Making a distinctive contribution to the raising of pupil standards, which will include coaching and mentoring colleagues to ensure practice in the phase is excellent.

Part-time Office Administrator 

Start date: September 2025     
Salary – Grade 2 (£24,027 – £25,992 FTE)
15 hours per week

The Governors of our happy and successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Administrative assistant, to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and data entry systems
Demonstrate excellent customer service
Support the administrative team to meet school key targets 
Provide effective administration services for the school
Can work under pressure
