Cultural Celebration 2012

This year each class chose a country to represent and explored the culture of their chosen country. This included learning the location of their chosen country and finding out facts about their chosen country such as what flag does the country have? And what language do they speak? What food do they eat?

Barford also had some special after school workshops for children leading up the annual Cultural Celebration assembly. The after school workshops provided children a chance to learn Bollywood dancing, Irish dancing, African drumming, Bollywood dhol drumming and Steel pan drums. The children performed the dances and drumming in the annual Barford Cultural Celebration assembly.
