Collins Big Cat Reading Apps (iPad)
There are 8 different reading apps for children to read with their Parents. Each story app has 3 options, "Read to me", "Read by myself" and "Story Creator". In the "Read to me" option each word that is spoken is highlighted so that children can follow the story.
The best part of the app is the "Story Creator" option as this option allows the children to choose a scene, choose some characters, Add some text and even record their voice to tell the story.
CBeebies Story Time App (iPad/Android)
The CBeebies Story Time app includes stories from popular CBeebies shows. Additional Stories can be downloaded for free from the app.
Each story has 2 options, "Read to Me" and "Read by myself". The "Read to me" option highlights each word that is spoken so that children can follow the story.
