Food Allergies

A food allergy is an abnormal, exaggerated reaction (hypersensitivity) of the immune system to certain proteins in food. People with severe allergies can have a reaction, which can be life threatening known as anaphylaxis or “anaphylactic shock”.

Due to new legislation that came into force on 13th December 2014, the School needs to display the 14 Allergens to all Parents/Staff within the school.

The Catering team have had extensive training on all of these Allergens so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Pat or Tracey as they will happy to help you.

Contact numbers: 0121 464 9118 / 0121 464 9093.
