Dainty Little Hands

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the warm welcome that Dainty Little Hands (DLH) has received. We are proud to be working in partnership with our host school, Barford Primary School.

Dainty Little Hands Ltd Out of School Clubs are Ofsted registered (Setting Reference Number: 2851908), ensuring that our care meets the highest standards. Our team members hold recognised qualifications in Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene, and our Managers are recognised Designated Safeguarding Leads.

We also work closely with our host school to ensure that every child is supported in their learning and development.

Healthy Snacks

We provide children with a wide selection of healthy snacks, freshly prepared each day. Options include:

• Sandwiches, bagels, and crackers

• Vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, and carrots

• Fruits such as apples, pears, and oranges

Children have access to drinks throughout each session, including:

• Water

• Milk

All dietary requirements are carefully considered so that every child can enjoy snack time safely.

Play and Activities

At DLH, we support the 16 areas of play recognised to promote imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional growth.
Our children take part in activities that nurture development through:

We offer a variety of engaging activities, including:

• Recycled junk modelling

• Painting and drawing

• Storytelling

• Outdoor play

• Board games

• Colouring sheets and word searches

• Dolls and figures for imaginative play

• Lego building blocks

• Books for all ages

• Sensory play using different textures

• Cultural enrichment activities (e.g., flag making, celebrating Black History Month, and supporting educators in school-based learning)

Bookings and Prices

If you would like to book a place with us, please use IPAL, our online booking system:

We ask for a minimum two-week booking when you start, and thereafter, bookings should be made no later than the Thursday of the week before.
Once registered, you can add funds to your wallet and book the days you require. All information is securely stored on an electronic register to ensure your child’s safety and safeguarding.

Session Prices:

• After School Club: £9.00 per child per day (end of school until 6:00pm)

• Breakfast Club: £4.50 per child per day (7:30am until the start of school)
