Today the School Council had another taster session and tried a brand new dish, Lentil Soup (Masala Dal) with White Rice and Chapati (Roti). All 12 School Councillors enjoyed the food.
The catering staff would like to thank the School Council and Mrs Janagal for a successful taster session.

Today the School Council had a taster session and tried a brand new dish, Chick Pea Curry with Chapati. The School Council enjoyed the food with 7 children rating the dish as very good and 3 children rating the dish as good. 11 out of 12 children voted to have the dish put on the School Dinner Menu.

The School Council kicked off the 2014/15 Birmingham Trees for Life planting programme at Summerfield Park. Luckily there was no rain and and the sun tried hard to shine as the School Council planted the 10 large trees in Summerfield Park.
The School Council were joined on site by volunteers from BTFL, Councillor Lal, the Parks Manager and members of the Parks Department Ranger Service. Quadron, are responsible for the site maintenance at Summerfield, had been in the park early to prepare the ground and pitched in to help the School Council plant their trees.
The School Council worked very hard and put in a lot of effort planting the trees. Mrs Janagal and Mr Baddhan also helped the School Council plant the trees.
